The Ian Smith of Stornoway Trust was wound up on 1 December 2011, but the projects established by the Trust will be continued in perpetuity by The Ian Smith of Stornoway Legacy. This is a new organisation which will be funded from the estate of Ian Smith's elder son, Croy who died in September 2010.
